We stock four Stannah models. These cover straight stairs, curved stairs, and a perching option for anyone who finds sitting difficult:

  • Stannah Siena 600: Stannah’s most popular straight stairlift. It boasts a comfortable Siena seat, slim folding design, and the practical features you’d expect.

Whether your staircase is straight, curved, narrow, or has landings, there’s a Stannah model to suit it. We’ll carry out a free home assessment to check the layout and recommend the best option for your home.

Straight Stannah stairlifts can usually be fitted within a few hours of arriving. Curved models take a bit longer to manufacture. This is because the rail is custom-made for your stairs, typically two to three weeks from survey to install.

Yes. All Stannah stairlifts have a slim folding design, with the seat, armrests, and footrest all folding flat against the rail. They’re ideal for homes where others still use the stairs.

Stannah stairlifts run on rechargeable batteries that are constantly topped up from the mains. If the power goes out, the lift carries on working for several trips, which is more than enough to get you up or down safely.

Absolutely. Stannah has designed the controls for users with arthritis or reduced grip strength. A light touch with a finger, knuckle, or even an elbow is enough, and two wireless remotes come as standard, so the lift can be called from another floor.

Yes. The Stannah Siena 600 supports users up to 25 stone, and there are options across the range for higher weight capacities. We’ll make sure you get a model that fits both you and your staircase comfortably.

Not at all. Stannah stairlifts are fitted to the stair treads, not the wall, so there’s no major building work and no damage to your decor.
