Due to current circumstances, we can still do a survey and quote but without having to come out and measure up. All we need is a few photos of your staircase and we can accurately work out what is needed and the costs involved.
Not only does this keep risks to a minimum but it would also speed the whole process up too as we could have something installed from stock within 24 hours if needs be.

The 130 straight model is a very quick and easy installation, it usually only takes around one hour – plus we could even have it fitted within 24 hours of the survey!
The 180 curved model is a modular system so, unlike others where you may have to wait for weeks, these can be fitted within a matter of days!
Just another update to let you know our current position. As previously stated, we’re still open as normal for the foreseeable future, albeit it on a temporary reduced staff, to cover any surveys, installations or breakdowns. Any servicing, removals or non-urgent work will be postponed until further notice.

We have been keeping a close eye on how the current situation is progressing and we feel it is our responsibility to keep you up to date with our position. These are obviously difficult and unprecedented times for everyone right across the world and unfortunately it seems like it will continue for at least the next few months.
However, people will still need stairlifts and our 3000+ customers will still need our renowned aftersales care as well, so as key workers and part of the health and social care supply chain, as announced by the government earlier today, we will continue to be here for when people need us.
The vast majority of our calls only require one engineer to be present and we have already brought in extras measures to keep our staff and customers safe. These strict hygiene protocols include regular and thorough personal and product sanitisation throughout the day, wearing a new pair of disposable gloves per call and no physical contact like handshakes etc, however we also have to adapt to a changing situation too. That is why we have brought in further measures which include:
-Postponing all non-urgent calls until further notice, including servicing, warranty servicing and non-urgent removals
-Screening phone calls (and visitors to our showroom) with a few relevant questions before going out to people
-Asking customers to stay in a different room throughout our visit and removing the need to sign any paperwork
-Requesting fewer people to be present for surveys, installations and demonstrations
-Adhering to any additional requests that our customers might have, like wearing a face mask for example
We only have a small team but they are under strict instruction to immediately stay at home and self-isolate for at least 7 days should they feel any symptoms or unwell in general.
We will continue to monitor developments closely and act according but again, just to reassure our customers, their health and well-being is the most important thing and that we’re doing everything we can to keep them safe.
Also, just another reminder that we do have a small stock of essential supplies in our vans that we can provide free of charge if needed throughout this period as well.
With current circumstances we are taking additional precautions to make sure all our staff and customers are safe. We have recently invested in measures such as extra sanitisation for our staff to use and they have all been instructed in how to thoroughly prepare throughout the day.
We are watching developments very closely and will react accordingly to changing circumstances but rest assured that the safety, health and well-being of all our customers is of the upmost importance and we will not take any unnecessary risks.
Furthermore, as we are often dealing with the elderly and vulnerable who may not be able to get to the shops very easily – and due to the panic buying around the country, we do have a small stock of essentials like toilet roll and soap etc that we can supply to our customers free of charge if needed during this period.
